Global Youth Service Day will be celebrated April 16-18, 2004!

Global Youth Service Day (GYSD) is an annual global event organized by Youth Service
America and the Global Youth Action Network, as well as a consortium of 31 International
Organizations and more than 100 National Coordinating Committees that Celebrates,
Recognizes, and Mobilizes

the year-round contributions of young people to build their communities and their world
through voluntary service, andthe contributions made by the community (public, private,
and nonprofit sectors) for empowering young people, especially through mentoring.

全球青年服務日(GYSD)是一個一年一度的全球活動﹐
2000年4月由Youth Service America、Global Youth Action Network發起﹐
另有31個國際組織、100多個國家共襄盛舉﹐致力於青年志願服務的慶祝、表揚、及動員﹕

過去一年來青年透過志願服務對社區所做的貢獻。

地方的政府單位、民間企業及非營利組織提供訓練及諮詢服務協助青年人開發潛力。
